artist statement :
My Andean Cosmovision anthropomorphizes my surroundings, leading me to approach topics related to sustainability, climate change and colonialism. With a lacanian eye, playing with unconventional use of language I explore the connections of cultural elements between  communities and languages. my proposal seeks a syncretic, multicultural and safe future for everyone.

I create multilingual, multicultural and intergenerational spaces for families to make art together.
I have worked with Sugar Hill Children's Museum of Art & Storytelling and Queens Museum; where I was Lead Artist and Coordinator for Family Programs.
I am  the Director of Escuelita en Casa, an initiative in response to the pandemic that provided free virtual tutoring and art classes to families in the United States and Latin America. also i am the Co-founder of Sew Sisters creating income for undocumented women and providing masks for women in shelters and essential workers.
